UEFA Champion's League Highlight : Manchester United vs AC Milan first leg
Manchester United and AC Milan played the first leg of the UEFA Champion's League at Old Trafford ( Manchester United's home ground). It was a great display of individual skills by both teams but especially from AC Milan's attacking player, Kaka. The match ended Manchester United 3-2 AC Milan . Both teams has some advantage going into the next leg at the San Siro ( AC Milan's home ground). AC Milan had two vital away goals even though they lost this match and Manchester United were leading AC Milan by one goal. Formula 1: Monaco Grand Prix Race Review
As we all know , it was a bad qualifying for the Ferrari team as Felipe Massa just managed to take the third position on the grid and Kimi Raikonnen just managed to get the sixteenth position on the grid. 
Anyways, at the start of the race, both the Mclaren managed get a quick start and Lewis Hamilton who started second on the grid , managed to hold block any overtaking maneuvers by Felipe Massa. It was all Mclaren for the whole day, no one else even came close to challenging the Mclarens. The battle was between the Mclaren drivers, Fernando Alonso and the rookie Mclaren driver Lewis Hamilton. They were the fastest people on the race day. They were both going head to head and at last Fernando Alonso found a great team-mate who can really push him.
Ferrari driver, Felipe Massa was not fast enough to challenge any of the two Mclarens and just finished third . Whereas Kimi Raikonnen , who started from the sixteenth position managed to carve up I think it was 7 places at the start of the grid before the first right handed turn. Kimi Raikonnen finished sixth and managed to get one point.
Fernando Alonso managed to win the race but Lewis Hamilton pushed him really hard. Fernando Alonso posted the fastest lap of the day and the time was 1:15.284 . Lewis Hamilton was the second fastest man on that day and his fastest time was 1:15.372.

It was a great qualifying day and there were some drama . Some had a great qualifying session some got less than desired results. It was mostly true for the Ferrari team as Felipe Massa just managed to qualify in the third spot and another Ferrari driver, Kimi Raikonnen made a little mistake ( I think it was the swimming pool chicane ) and he paid dearly as his from suspension and steering broke after he hit the Armco . Kimi Raikonnen just manages to qualify in 16th position . Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton were going at each other for the whole of the qualifying session and the rookie , Lewis Hamilton really impressed as he match Fernando Alonso's time lap after lap and even drove faster than Alonso a couple of laps, but at the end , the experienced world champion Fernando Alonso posted the fastest time of the day and qualified in the pole position.

Formula 1: Monaco Circuit
Monaco's formula 1 circuit is a unique circuit in the Formula 1 calender. Formula 1 has been taking place in Monaco for a long time and it is historical as well as a very unique circuit . It is a unique challenge for the formula 1 drivers to race in Monaco circuit. Monaco circuit is actually not a racing circuit, it is a street where ordinary cars drive around when Formula 1 is not in town. Formula 1: Monaco GP free practice
This week end , the people who live in Monte Carlo will be leaving the city for a week or so, because........its Formula 1 time. Every time Formula 1 comes to Monaco , the regular people who live there leave the city . 
Monaco GP is the only race in the formula 1 calender which takes place in the regular streets of Monte Carlo where regular cars take the place of Formula 1 cars when there is no race. Monaco GP is the only race of its kind in Formula 1 and has been so for a long long time.
In the practice session today, Fernando Alonso was behind his team mate Lewis Hamilton for most of this practice session but Fernando Alonso pulled out his quickest lap time and the quickest lap time of the day. Fernando Alonso is just a couple of point behind his team-mate Lewis Hamilton in the formula 1 championship.
The Mclaren team were the fasted on the practice session . The McLaren drivers Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton finished the practice session on the top spot . McLaren 1-2 and Fernando Alonso took the first spot. Still this is just a practice session so anything can happen between the practice session and the race day.

UEFA Champion's League finals 2006-2007: AC Milan vs Liverpool
Yesterday , AC Milan and Liverpool played UEFA Champion's League final at the Olympic Stadium in Athens. Well, for me it was mostly a forgettable match.
Liverpool played a lot better than AC Milan in the first half and they had a lot of possession and created a lot of chances but just when the first half was about to end , AC Milan got a free-kick just outside the box. Liverpool gave a stupid free kick just outside the box and Pirlo took the free kick , and a slight defection from Inzaghi was all the difference from a goal and a save. Well , I would give that goal to pirlo ( think UEFA did that too ). The match went on as usual and Liverpool were pressing AC Milan . Liverpool created a lot of chances but failed to score. Then a great through pass from the AC Milan midfield and a great run from Pippo Inzaghi to beat Liverpool's offside trap let to a goal for AC Milan. Pippo Inxaghi beat Claudio Reina ( liverpool's keeper ) and AC Milan were 2-0 up.
Liverpool had a mountain to climb almost like in the 2005 champions League final, but this time the outcome was different. Liverpool managed to get a goal but that was just a consolation . Dirk Kuyt scored the only goal of the match for Liverpool. The repeat of the UEFA Champion's League 2005 final was not to happen. Not much inspiration from Steven Gerrard either but he came really close on some occasions .
The score was AC Milan 2-1 Liverpool at the final whistle. 
Well here is some controversy for you, AC Milan shouldn't even have been allowed to take part in the UEFA Champion's League because of the scandal that took place before the 2006 FIFA world cup. I don't know why UEFA allowed AC Milan to take part in the competition but they did and now AC Milan won the UEFA Champion's League for the seventh time.

Uefa Champion's League 2006-2007
Olympic Stadium in Athens--->>
Tomorrow , the Champion's league final of the 2006-2007 season will be played at Athens' Olympic stadium. This is like a recap of the 2005 UEFA Champion's league finals .That was an amazing finals as Liverpool came back from a huge goal deficit . Liverpool were down 3-0 to AC Milan at half time but in the amazing six minutes in the second half, Liverpool scored three goals and they were back in level terms and Liverpool went on to win the UEFA Champion's League in the penalty shoot-outs.
What will happen this time around?? Will AC Milan take revenge on Liverpool??Will Liverpool do the double on AC Milan??Will this match go to penalties??
Who knows what will happen...Football is an unpredictable sport , the best sports ever, too much emotion, too much exciting (well some matches are boring) but still I am proud to say I am addicted to football.
Both , Liverpool and AC Milan will be playing with five men in the mid-field and only one striker. I don't know what the formation is going to be but I will put my money of AC Milan playing with five man mid-field. Don't know much about Liverpool, Rafa Benitez is just too unpredictable.

MotoGP: French Grand Prix review
It was quite a hasty start as it started to rain just before the start. All the teams had to make a hasty decision and some gambled on the tyre choices. Well lots of riders chose the sleek tyres and some gambled on wet weather tyres. Before the start of the race, the race officials declared the race a "wet race". Till half of the MotoGP race, it didn't rain that much and it was getting exciting and there were lots of overtaking maneuvers .There were six different leaders in this years French Grand Prix in La Mans. Both the french riders were also leading the race but as the race went on, the track got slippery and the young French rider pushed too hard and crashed. There were a lot of crashes. All the riders changed their tyres to sleek and Chris Vermeulin was leading the race after the tyre change.

MotoGP: French Grand Prix qualifying
The MotoGP races are coming thick and fast this month and this week, there is another race. This time , it will take place in france. There race will take place at the La Mans Circuit which is located in western France. The qualifying round of the French Grand Prix is over and Colin Edwards , the Yamaha rider took the pole position.
LE MANS, France (Reuters) - American Colin Edwards, riding a Yamaha, took pole position for the French motoGP by posting the fastest time in Saturday's qualifying session.
Edwards covered the 4.180-km Le Mans circuit in a record time of one minute 33.616 seconds to edge out world championship leader Casey Stoner of Australia by 0.094 seconds.

MotoGP Review: Chinese Grand Prix
In the qualifying session, Valentino Rossi came out on top and qualified in the pole position. But it was totally different in the race day. Casey Stoner was simply unstoppable and no one could match his Ducati's speed in the straight line, not even Valentino Rossi could catch him on the straight. Casey Stoner pulled off a perfect performance and claimed his second Moto GP in a row. Chinese Grand Prix was held in a circuit at Shanghai and the track suited Casey Stoner's Ducati a lot better than Valentino Rossi. Casey Stoner has been magnificent this season and he might just win his first Moto GP championship crown. Casey Stoner was put in a lot of pressure by Valentino Rossi in the first half of the race but some mistakes from Valentino Rossi gave Stoner the perfect opportunity to pull off and win the race comfortably.
Casey Stoner said to the press after the race:
"I can't believe it. I've won almost as many races in Moto GP as in 250s. I guess it was just a matter of playing the race out and it's worked perfectly. I feel very comfortable with the Ducati team and even after our qualifying problems, we still have lots of faith in each other. MotoGP: Chinese Grand Prix Qualifying
After some weeks of inaction on the MotoGP calender, MotoGP race will take place in Shanghai this week . The MotoGP Qualifying just ended today and Valentino Rossi took the pole after the end of the qualifying session. Valentino Rossi produced one of the greatest Moto GP laps of all time to take a dominant pole position for the Chinese Grand Prix. Casey Stoner had a very fast bike and if it wasn't for the bike problems Ducati had, Casey Stoner would have given a good competition to Valentino Rossi. Casey Stoners Ducati is like a freight train in the straight line. Valentino Rossi best time on the Shanghai circuit was 1:58.424 which is half a second faster than the qualifying lap record set by Dani Pedrosa in 2006. After the qualifying session was over , Valentino Rossi said
"It was a very exciting lap . When I saw the time at the end of the lap I was very surprised. I pushed to the maximum and got great grip from the Michelin qualifiers. I was braking in the last centimeters in every corner and I made no mistakes. It was quite mighty."
MotoGP Championship leader Casey Stoner suffered a mechanical failure on his Ducati race-bike but he managed to get to the pits and recover . I always wanted to be a photographer but unfortunately I didn't think it was a viable career move at that time. I joined an engineering college but I dropped out because I felt I was wasting money and my time for nothing. Well , I should have tried photography . Well I might have made a mistake but I don't have any regrets on the decisions i took. If you want to be a good photographer and succeed in that profession then you will need to get some training . Not all people need training to become a great photographer , some might be naturally talented but a photo school will hone those talents and make you even better. Review: Manchester United vs AC Milan Champion's League 2nd leg
Wow. I didn't expect that kind of performance from Manchester United. It was a poor performance to say the least. It was very unlike Manchester United. AC Milan were brilliant and in the first half , they scored two goals. The first goal was scored by Kaka and the second one was scored by Clarence Seedorf . In just about 30 minutes from the kick off ,Manchester United were two goals down . The aggregate goal tally at that time was Manchester United 3-4 AC Milan . I thought Manchester United will give a good performance in the second half , but I was damn wrong. It was the same story , Manchester United gave away possession too cheaply and the didn't threaten AC Milan's goal at all. AC Milan and Liverpool will be playing for the UEFA Champion's League trophy. It will be a repeat of the 2005 UEFA Champion's League finals and AC Milan will be eying to take revenge on Liverpool . Liverpool somehow stole the trophy from AC Milan's grasp with three goals in six mad minutes back in 2005. We will have to wait three weeks to watch this UEFA Champion's League final.

Wow. It was a great night for Liverpool yesterday. Liverpool won in the penalty shoot-outs against Chelsea. Manchester United and AC Milan play the second leg of the UEFA Champion's League . Manchester United won 3 goals to 2 against AC Milan in the first leg semi-final match. But Manchester United are in a bit of a disadvantage because of AC Milan's 2 away goals. Still , Manchester United just need to draw against AC Milan tonight to go to the UEFA Champion's League Finals which will be held in Athens. I would prefer to see two English teams battling for the UEFA Champion's League trophy but you can't underestimate an Italian team. Manchester United will play AC Milan at San Siro ( AC Milan's home ground). San Siro is quite an intimidating place to play but I think Manchester United will do the job and advance to the UEFA Champion's League finals.

Today Chelsea and Liverpool played the second leg of the UEFA Champion's League semi-final match. This game will decide which team will go to the UEFA Champion's League finals. It was a great tactical battle between Jose Mourinho and Rafa Benitez but Rafa Benitez came out on top. In the first half, Liverpool played a high tempo game and in the 22nd minute, Liverpool got a free kick . It was a training ground free kick and Daniel Agger scored a goal for Liverpool and it was all square for both teams. The aggregate was Liverpool 1-1 Chelsea ( no away goals) after that goal.
