Moto GP: United States GP Qualifying - 2007

Moto GP United States Grand Prix qualifying day wasn't as great and fruitful for the Yamaha team. Valentino Rossi who is currently chasing down the 2007 Moto GP championship leader, Casey Stoner only finished fifth on the qualifying day. Not a great qualifying as Rossi had hoped but we all know what he can do come race day even thought he had a bad qualifying day.
As for Casey Stoner, he was the fastest man on he track on the qualifying day and no one came close to Stoner's time in the qualifying session. The second position rider was 200ths of a second slower than Stoner. Dani Pedrosa, the Repsol Honda rider was the second fastest man on the qualifying day at Laguna Seca circuit in United States.
Two new American riders were included in the 2007 Moto GP United States Grand Prix, Roger Lee Hayden, Nicky Hayden's brother and Miguel Duhamel.
Roger Lee Hayden was riding for Kawasaki Racing Team and Miguel Duhamel for Gresini Honda. Both the new comers weren't that great as Roger Lee only managed to secure sixteenth spot and Miguel Duhamel qualified second from last.
2007 United States Moto GP was a home grand prix for total of six riders this year and Nicky Hayden managed to secure the fourth spot for the race which is a great qualifying considering Hayden's 2007 Moto GP races so far this year.
Casey Stoner looked really impressive in the qualifying laps and it seemed like everything was working for him, from tyres to bike setup.
Stoner would really want to extend the gap from Valentino Rossi as he may well do so come race day as Rossi didn't look that great on the qualifying day and only finished fifth. Maybe Rossi can pull a Rossi come race day. We will all have to wait and see what happens on the race day at the Laguna Seca circuit. Moto GP: Sachsenring German Grand Prix Review

2007 Moto GP German Grand Prix was filled with all kinds of drama. As we all know, Valentino Rossi is challenging the current 2007 Moto GP Championship leader, Casey Stoner but Rossi had a bad qualifying session. To make up for his poor performance in the qualifying session, Valentino Rossi was charging from the start of the race from sixth position but he was a bit impatient and made a desperate move to overtake a slower rider that him as he was loosing lot of time staying behind him. When he was trying to overtake Randy De Puniet, Valentino Rossi’s from tire gave out and he crashed out of the race.
Rossi tried to join the race after the crash but his bikes handlebar was broke so he had to retire. That was a really bad blow for Valentino Rossi as he desperately needed to finish above the current leader, Casey Stoner.
Valentino Rossi could have finished above Casey Stoner if it weren’t for the crash as Casey Stoner was having trouble matching the pace of other riders. Casey Stoner was overtaken by Dani Pedrosa and Dani never looked back and won the race held in Sachsenring circuit. Moto GP German Grand Prix was Dani Pedrosa’s first win of the 2007 season. Casey Stoner was quite slower than other riders and lots of them overtook him and Stoner found it hard to match their pace.
Stoner was in damage limitation mode and he didn’t take any risks. Casey Stoner just finished in fifth and didn’t score full points. Valentino Rossi will be quite happy because of that as Casey Stoner didn’t create as much gap as he would if Stoner had won.
Dani Pedrosa won the 2007 German Grand Prix in Sachenring circuit, his first win of the season. Loris Capirossi, the Ducati rider and the 2007 Moto GP championship leader, Casey Stoner’s team-mate finished second, two places above Stoner. Nicky Hayden, the American Repsol Honda rider finished third. BP's refinery in Indiana

In the past, big industrial companies didn't care about the environment. But the trend is changing rapidly. Lots of industrial companies are starting to care about the environment. Lots of industries in the past have abused the environment and suffered the consequences, like a mining company in Irian Jaya, in Papua new Guinea. The consequence was, the company was thrown out of the country, a war started because of it and the native people of Irian Jaya suffered.
Now a days things have changed, the big companies care about the environment and the people living near the factories. BP is one of the companies that environmentally friendly but the recent developments might say otherwise. BP factory in Whiting, Indiana has been allowed by the Indiana Department of Environmental Management and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to dump more ammonia and sludge into lake Michigan.
BP received permission from the Indiana Department of Environmental Management and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to be exempt from environmental laws that cap the amount of toxins into the lake. It will be allowed to include in its daily discharges into the lake 54 percent more ammonia (above the current 1,584 pounds) and 35 percent more sludge (above the current 4,925 pounds).
Even though BP has been exempted from environmental law, BP claim that they will stick to the Federal pollution guidelines. Even though the BP plant in Indiana will be dumping more more ammonia and sludge, only treated water will be released into Lake Michigan which will be 99.9% water. All sludge will be treated according to Federal law and will be released into lake Michigan.
Even though the new permit allows BP to dump more ammonia in lake Michigan, the ammonia release will still be under half the amount that federal environmental guidelines allows. So, the ammonia released in lake Michigan will be well within the legal limits.
BP refinery in Whiting is making continuous improvement and they have voluntarily reduced the suspended solids in the sludge and water it dumps in lake Michigan by 40% in the last four years and they will continue to do so in the future.
As we know, United States imports lots of oil from the Middle East and after the 9/11 attacks, United States don't want to be dependent on oil from the Middle East. To do so, the government is making some trade offs and allowing BP to dump more ammonia and sludge in Lake Michigan to process more crude oil from Canada (a much more reliable source than the middle east). They are taking steps to stop being dependent on Middle East oil. But this doesn't mean BP will dump large amount of waste products in Lake Michigan, instead they will just be dumping less than half the amount allowed by federal environmental guidelines of the treated wastes in lake Michigan. The best bet would be to do a lot of research on alternative energy and stop relying on fossil fuel as it is not going to last for ever so why not start looking for clean alternative energy. Alternative energy will surely help United States as well as other countries to stop being dependent on Middle Easter oil or oil from any country or reason. You can take a look at article released called BP and Lake Michigan on News Sentinel and BP Whiting Refinery Fact Sheet for more information.
Formula 1: European Grand Prix Qualifying

After some weeks of Formula 1 races in North America, Formula 1 is back in Europe and the first race in Europe will be held in Germany. The race will take place in the legendary Nurburgring circuit which has been modified quite a bit.
The Formula 1 European Grand Prix qualifying session just concluded and it was another exciting formula 1 qualifying session in 2007. The Spyker cars were looking really fast and especially Takuma Sato’s Skyper and the Spyker team don’t have huge budgets to develop cars as other top teams. Takuma Sato easily qualified for the second round of the qualifying session. Both the Spykers qualified for the second qualifying session. In contrast, it was a horrendous qualifying session for BAR Honda team as Jenson Button didn’t even managed to get past the first qualifying session and as a result of that, Button will be starting from the seventeenth position in the grid come the race day.
Takuma Sato looked good in the first qualifying session he was relegated in the second qualifying session. For the third and final qualifying session, there was a lot of drama from the start of the first pit stop as Lewis Hamilton was trying to overtake
Felipe Massa in the qualifying session as if it was the race itself. Lewis Hamilton didn’t manage to overtake Felipe Massa and had to back of quite a bit to get a clear piece of track.
As Lewis Hamilton was trying to set the qualifying lap, his right front tire failed and he crashed into the wall. The turn where the tire failed was the fastest corner of the Nurburgring circuit and it was a bad place to have any kind of failure. Read more about Lewis Hamilton's crash and condition here.
The red flag came out and the qualifying session was stopped because of the crash.
The qualifying session was stopped for about thirty minutes before it resumes with only five minutes to spare. All the cars went out after the qualifying session resumed and did a test run and came back into the pits. It was almost like the qualifying session a couple of years ago when the cars only did one run set the qualifying session. All the cars did a one qualifying lap and Kimi Raikonnen set the fastest time. Alonso made a big mistake and ran out wide and lost a couple tenths of a second but he managed to make amend to his mistake and qualified in the second spot. Felipe Massa just managed to qualify third fastest.

Moto GP: German Grand Prix Qualifying Session

The races are coming thick and fast for the Moto GP riders. Qualifying session for the German Grand Prix race was another qualifying session where Ducati and Repsol Honda machines dominated the top two spots. Casey Stoner secured his second pole position in the qualifying session this season. Ducati and Casey Stoner have had great luck and magnificent form this season and because of that, Casey Stoner is leading this year's Moto GP championship table right now. In the qualifying day, Casey Stoner completed a lap in the Sacsenring circuit in just 1'22.384 and secured his second pole position this year.
The Repsol Honda team and their rider Dani Pedrosa were on pace in the qualifying session as he managed to complete a fast lap in 1'22.388, just a fraction of a second slower than Casey Stoner. Dani Pedrosa's bike looked tuned up for the Sacsenring circuit and he will be challenging Casey Stoner a win come race day. Marco Melandri managed to finish the qualifying session with the fastest time of 1'22.397 subsequently getting the third position for the race in Sacsenring circuit, Germany.
Valentino Rossi had a poor qualifying session as he only managed to qualify in sixth spot with the fastest time of 1'22.605 . But we all know what Valentino Rossi can do, come race day. Formula 1: Kimi Raikonnen up for third consecutive win

Kimi Raikonnen is hopeful for a third consecutive win for him in the 2007 FIA Formula 1 Championship. Kimi Raikonnen hopes to get some luck for the race in Germany this weekend as Micheal Schumacher used to in the past. Micheal Schumacher almost always managed to win in Nurburgring, his home grand prix no matter what other teams did.
Kimi Raikonnen never had much luck in Nuerburgring with Mclaren in past years but he hopes he can get lucky this time around driving for Ferrari.
Raikkonen said:
"Something always happened to stop me from winning. Hopefully I can put that right this time with Ferrari. It is exciting for me to be there with Ferrari. Somehow I have a feeling that Michael won there almost every time. Never mind what we did, at the end of the day the red car of Michael was there to take the chequered flag."
Kimi Raikonnen is only eighteen points behing the current FIA Formula 1 leader, Lewis Hamilton and its not that much big of a gap and can be closed very quickly if some of the Mclarens have problems in a race or two. So there is still lot of hope for Kimi Raikonnen and even Felipe Massa. Read More......

Formula 1: 2007 British Grand Prix result and review
R Jarno Trulli (ITA) Toyota 43 Retired Scott Speed (USA) Toro Rosso
2007 British Grand Prix Formula One race was somewhat of a mixed race for Ferrari and but a great one for Kimi Raikonnen. Kimi Raikonnen started from the second position in the grid at the start of the British Grand Prix. Felipe Massa’s hope of winning evaporated as his car stalled before the red lights went off and subsequently had to start in last position from the pit lane. Lewis Hamilton started from the pole position but he made a small mistake in the first round of pit stops in about lap 15 or 16 and lost the lead. Kimi Raikonnen did a couple of extra laps before heading into the pits himself.
Lewis Hamilton and Kimi Raikonnen traded fastest laps after fastest lap before the first pit stops. Lewis Hamilton had hoped he could pull out some kind of gap between him and Kimi Raikonnen but Fernando Alonso made a quick pit stop hoping to come out ahead of Raikonnen and Alonso did that succesfully. Fernando Alonso took the lead after a successful short pit stop from Lewis Hamilton. Kimi Raikonnen had more fuel compared to Fernando Alonso and he took the advantage of that before he made the second pit stop.
Fernando Alonso had to come into the pits long before Kimi Raikonnen and
Kimi Raikonnen took perfect advantage of that situation and banged in fastest lap of lap before going into the pits himself. After Kimi Raikonnen made the second pit stop, he came out in front of Fernando Alonso and took the lead in the 2007 British Grand Prix.
Kimi Raikonnen's pace seemed too much for the Mclarens as he increased the gap between himself and Fernando Alonso after the second round of pit stops and Kimi Raikonnen won the British Grand Prix comfortably. This was Kimi Raikonnen's second consecutive Formula 1 Grand Prix. I hope this great form for Kimi Raikonnen continues in the future Grand Prix.
As for the second driver for Ferrari, Felipe Massa had to start from the pit lane but he managed to carve up other slower cars and overtake them one after another and finished in fifth place. It was a great result for Felipe Massa as he started from the last position. As for Lewis Hamilton, he finished third in the race. Considering this is his first home Grand Prix in a Formula 1 car, he would have wanted to win this race but it wasn't to happen because of the little mistake he made in the first pit stop.
Kimi Raikonnen won the 2007 British Grand Prix, Fernando Alonso came in second, Lewis Hamilton was third. The BMW Sauber of Robert Kubica came in fourth place and Felipe Massa was fifth.

Find a perfect rental house

I have always loved big rooms and especially something like studios with huge open space. This house I picked is just a perfect match for me because it is a big studio turned into living space. This kind of lofts aren't for everybody and there is just one room and won't be suitable for families. I think single person or a couple would relish this kind of living space. Well I do. I chose a Studio in Denver. I love it as this studio has an attached garage. The rent is a little high but apart from that, everything is perfect.
You can also search houses for rent and find a perfect place to rent. Any person can easily use this site, even a novice. Everything is laid out visually and you can click on a state then city and the kind of place you want to rent, like an apartment, a loft etc and find the perfect place.
Tennis: Wimbledon Final 2007

This is yet another occasion when Rafael Nadal had to face a loss against his closest rival, Roger Federer. It was a kind of a rematch for Rafael Nadal to take revenge on Roger Federer for the last years final. The final, as expected was a competitive one as the game was poised either way with nail biting moments for the set point and the break points as well. The match was decided in full five sets. The first one went to Roger Federer in a tie breaker where he won the set by 7-6, which was 56 minutes long. The second went in favor of Rafael Nadal where he won the set by 4-6 in just 40 minutes (seemed as if Rafael Nadal had an easy opponent). Again the third set went to Roger Federer’s way where he won 7-6 again in a tie breaker consuming 54 minutes. The forth set was won by Rafael Nadal with the score 2-6 which took only 37 minutes. Then it was the deciding set. The deciding set was won by Roger Federer with the score of 6-2 which also took only 37 minutes and thus he became the only second player to win the Wimbledon five times. But he created another history by successfully defending the title five times in a row. The match showcased very extraordinary plays by both the players and neither would give up easily. They both chased the ball all over the court and appealed to the umpire for the official review as well.
All in all, Roger Federer has been the only obstacle in Rafael Nadal’s way. In the last grand slam when Rafael Nadal was chasing for the feat of winning the most number of matches consecutively in a clay court, Roger Federer was the one who ended his winning streak. And this time around as well Roger Federer seemed to be too tough to be overrun. Rafael Nadal even lost an opportunity to take revenge on Roger Federer as he became the runner up in Wimbledon for the second straight time.
Though the rivalry continues both the players played their quality matches with outstanding shots and in no way giving their opponents an easy time.

Moto GP: Dutch TT, Assen result and review

After the qualifying day at Assen, 2007 Dutch TT race didn’t disappoint the fans of Moto GP. At the start of the Dutch TT race, Valentino Rossi had a bad start and a win for Valentino Rossi was really crucial as Casey Stoner was running away with the Moto GP 2007 Championship.
It was a bright, sunny day at Dutch circuit. Dutch TT in Assen was absolutely the opposite of the British Grand Prix at Donington Park as not even a drop of rain fell which made the race more edge of the seat stuff.
Even thought Valentino Rossi had a bad start, he was on top form for the whole of the race. Casey Stoner was leading the race from the start and the closest rider to challenge Stoner for the 2007 Moto GP championship, Valentino Rossi had to start from the eleventh position in the starting grid. Valentino Rossi didn’t have the desired start as he was unable to carve his way up the other riders from the start. This was an awesome start for the reigning world champion, Nicky Hayden, his first great performance of the season.
As the race went on, Valentino Rossi started to really carve up the riders and took one position after another and finally was just behind the race leader, Casey Stoner. The tire problem for Valentino Rossi seemed to vanish and he was performing at his best. Valentino Rossi waited for some time to overtake Casey Stoner as the Ducati was really fast compared to Rossi’s Yamaha. Rossi was burning up the track with fastest time after fastest time on most laps of the race. Most of the overtaking maneuver by Valentino Rossi was in the typical chicane in Assen circuit.
Even thought Valentino Rossi’s bike was a lot slower than Casey Stoner’s Rocket, he managed to catch up with Stoner and waited for the perfect moment to overtake the leading rider, Casey Stoner. As in the last race at Donington Park, Stoner easily managed to regain his lead after Valentino Rossi overtook him because of the sear power of the Ducati and subsequently wining the race. So Valentino Rossi didn’t want to make the same mistake and waited for the right time. Fourth laps remaining in the Dutch TT in Assen, Rossi made his move on Casey Stoner at the usual place in the Assen circuit and stuck it perfectly. After that overtaking maneuver by Rossi, he upped the pace again and created a huge distance between him and the now second place, Casey Stoner and ran with it.
Valentino Rossi won the Dutch Grand Prix at Assen and it was a sweet victory for him. Casey Stoner finished in second place and Nicky Hayden finished in third position. Dani Pedrosa took the fourth spot.

Best vacation spot
